Mother's Day is one of the most anticipated holidays that we get to celebrate every year. Coming up in a few days, it's always exciting (I say this as a mom) to receive something as a gift from one's children and husband. So instead of worrying about what to get your mother, here are some simple sweet ideas for her. A mother appreciates sweets and flowers, and there isn't any other gift better for Mother's Day. Mothers strive to give their children all the best in life. Therefore, the gift should be something that will stand out and make them remember them for good.

You could make: delicately colored cupcakes, pastel-colored cakesicles, or a cake decorated with flowers and bows, and you could use some colored powder dyes to add some color. For cakesicles mold, I recommend using special, colorful acrylic sticks since they will surely make your cakes exceptional. My mother's favorite sweets are cupcakes, and I think what I'll get her as a gift will be that.

This year my friend Pamela has made something special for Mother's Day and has inspired me to make tulips out of cupcakes. Her cupcakes are really gorgeous!!! I love their colors!!! If you don't like flowers, you can always use stencils to decorate the cupcakes or decorate them with other shapes like candies, and more. The stencils are very simple but give a lot of variety to the finished project.
