Who Likes Oreos?

I know, you’re wondering. Yes, it’s America’s most popular cookie. The crunchy yet flaky chocolate cookie, combined with the smooth, creamy center is a combination that’s irresistible to snackers and brand loyalists alike.
Children and adults alike love to dunk, lick and twist the classic cookie that has been enjoyed by generations. Since I was in Elementary School, my favorite snack was Oreo cookies and I couldn't wait for recess to eat them!

March 6th is the National Oreo cookie day and Oreos have been around since 1912. They were considered modern marvels when they introduced the first chocolate sandwich cookie and there is no denying that Nabisco ( National Biscuit Company) has done a great job continuing to promote these delectable treats with inventive flavors and cookies variations.

Where did the "Oreo" word even come from? The people at Nabisco aren't quite sure anymore but Some believe that the cookie's name was taken from the French word for gold, or (the main color on early Oreo packaging). The Oreo® cookie — inside of its chocolate complements — has had a rich history that spans over 100 years. The way the cookie looks today is different from what it looked like back in the day but has remained basically the same. The wafer hasn’t changed, for the most part, however, it has gotten tinier and crisper over time, along with the addition of white creme dots and team labels. These cookies are really one of the most used products by cake decorators: they can be used as chunks of fillings for cakesicles, or you can pulverize them to put on your cheesecake or cake, or on top of your frosting for cupcakes and more. The possibilities are endless!
